What is the GED Exam?
The GED (General Educational Development) exam is a high school equivalency test recognized across the U.S. and internationally. It certifies that you have the same academic skills as a high school graduate, opening doors to college, career opportunities, and military service.
📚 GED Test Subjects
The GED exam is divided into four subject tests. You can take them one at a time or all together.
Mathematical Reasoning
Algebra, geometry, quantitative problem-solving. Focuses on algebraic and quantitative problem solving.
Science
Life science, physical science, earth/space science. Measures the ability to apply scientific reasoning.
Social Studies
U.S. history, civics/government, economics, geography. Analyzes historical events and arguments.
Reasoning Through Language Arts (RLA)
Reading comprehension, grammar, and essay writing. Tests ability to read closely and write clearly.
